San Diego Family Care is a non-profit, family oriented community health center, established in 1972.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality medical, dental and mental health services to all families in San Diego County. We have special expertise in delivering culturally appropriate care to low-income families in multi-cultural communities.
The health center delivers care in multiple languages, through the use of specially trained translators.
Services provided include: Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Mental Health, Preventive Medicine, Reproductive Health Care, Teen Clinic Services, Optometry, and Prenatal Care, on site Laboratory and Dispensary.
The clinic has an active Immunization Program for children and offers CHDP (well child) services for children. We also offer annual flu shots, immigration physicals, and sports physicals.
The clinic tests for and treats sexually transmitted diseases. These services are provided with complete confidentiality.
All physicians and nurse practitioners are experienced and most are Board certified. Our Mental Health staff included psychiatrists, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers (LCSW).

Mid-City Community Clinic is a non-profit, family-oriented, community health center, established in 1974.

Mid-City Community Clinic Pediatrics opened its doors in October, 2003 and delivers medical and mental health care to thousands of children in the City Heights community. The clinic facility includes eleven exam rooms, treatment rooms, offers well child care, pediatric and adolescent medicine, urgent care, literacy education, asthma care, health education, developmental and behavioral pediatrics and immunizations. The facility is co-located with other agencies that offer additional services such as: Dental Care (by La Maestra Family Health Center) and after hours Urgent Care (by Rady Children’s Hospital).The clinic is linked closely to community agencies and public schools.
Mid-City Community Clinic Pediatrics also has two school-based health centers located at Rosa Parks Elementary and Central Elementary, which offer the same services as our clinic on University.
Medical and mental health care are offered with translation, including Spanish, Vietnamese, German, Farsi, and others.
