The UCSD Preventive Medicine Residency Program hosts a Community Health Screening Program (CHSP) in collaboration with SDFC.
The CHSP provides free screening for the community to identify the following conditions: hypertension; high cholesterol; diabetes; HIV; obesity; tobacco use.
The results are available the same day, and the appropriate blood testing is done by fingerstick under sterile conditions.
Counseling and referrals are provided upon completion of testing.
The CHSP is open from 9-12 am the second Saturday of each month.
