When it comes to health insurance coverage, our goal is to educate and empower you with the tools you need to get covered and stay covered. Friendly members of our Outreach & Enrollment team are here to help with enrollment in Covered California, the health insurance marketplace where Californians can shop for health plans and access financial assistance. You can choose the health plan with the best services and value to you or find out if you qualify for Medi-Cal. As part of the Affordable Care Act enacted in 2010, insurance cannot be dropped or denied if you have a pre-existing medical condition. You can sign up for a Covered California plan during the open enrollment period. You may also be eligible to sign up at any time during the year if you have a life-changing event such as losing healthcare coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, or adopting a child. To learn more about Covered California, contact our Certified Enrollment Counselors. Our experienced Certified Enrollment Counselors' assistance services are provided free to you. During your visit, our counselors will answer any questions you may have about your healthcare coverage. They will help you enroll in the plan or program that is best for you and/or your family. Our counselors will also make sure you are properly enrolled and that you know how to use your benefits
