Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women after skin cancer according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Breast cancer screenings can find cancer before a woman has symptoms. The earlier the cancer is found the easier it is to treat.
Mammogram screenings are important. A mammogram is an x-ray picture of the breast. Speak with your doctor about when to start breast cancer screening and how often you should have a mammogram, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer.
